Hotel (facility) itself was perfect. All staffs were very kind. We are very happy to see the attitude of them during whole our stay. Even my small son looks comfortable to stay there. We say thank you very much to everyone at Chateau De Roussan for giving us nice memory !! This is where we want to come back again.
*The building and the garden was amazing *the room was big and comfortable *the location is country side, so you need a car to get there *the food was good, and good value for money. Didn't eat the breakfast because it was continental.
*Some of the staff in the restaurant was new in their work, and not to good in english. But decent to be in France. * the toilet door wasn't able to close (probably water damaged) *a bit expensive because the hotel doesn't have any pool, or gym... (the local Alpillies 4 star hotel has...
The setting was beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing. Close to town, yet far enough away to feel you were in the country. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. The dinner meal was excellent and the presentation was very elegant. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay and would like to return to the chateau.
It is beautiful and very close to Provence. It was a lovely experience to stay there.
Quiet, nice surroundings
Wifi not working very well. Rooms cleaned every day except for the floors it seems. Double bed was too small.
Pet-friendly, great food, nice back-roads path into town, and a sense of history staying there.
The staffs are friendly. The room is large and clean, like it very much.
No children playing facilities.
Excellent setting, beautiful surroundings - near St Remy de Provencve
The Hotel was in a beautiful country location with the sound of wildlife all around. The bedrooms were large and spacious and the Public rooms very grand and I can just imagine horse drawn carriages driving up the beautiful driveway in days gone past. The staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful and a charming porter to deal with your luggage. It was nice to see swans and ducks on the small lake and sheep in the fields a truly enjoyable experience.
The hotel felt very private and serene. Enjoyed our stay, small room but cozy.
Shower was very nice yet not as functional as a stand up.
Beautiful grounds. Excellent staff. The sommelier was extremely introduced us to some truly distinctive local wines.
Great restaurant, but would want to go into town for variety and lower cost if staying several nights.
I liked the experience of stay in a unique property. The location was very quiet and each room was unique.
The quiet comfortable surroundings and the most delicious dinner.
Chateau looks a bit old from outside, but is very well preserved inside. Location is central. Very good breakfast. Nice garden.
Swimming pool is out of order.
very nice girl at reception, who tried to please us, although hotel restaurant was closed and no restaurant anywhere near the hotel. She even cooked us a meal in the end herself and improvised where she could. We were the only clients in the hotel, after the last clients just left hotel prematurely complaining about the messy garden. Hotel is surprisingly nicely renovated inside, but outside it looks like a wreck. All in all, considering that the poor girl at the reception had to run the whole castle by herself, she did a very good job. She was receptionist, kitchen chef, waitress, cleaner, etc. at the same time. It was funny and totally improvised, a bit like in "Mr. Bean".
garden and park could be nice, but they are totally untidy. pool is also broken. hotel too off-track for our taste. not cheap for what is offered in total.
